The Danish and Norwegian have a word for how we have designed our beach houses. It’s hygge (pronounced ‘hoo-ga’). And it means cosiness, comfortable conviviality, little pleasures, and feelings of wellness and contentment. A little word that means so much doesn’t exist in English, so hygge it is.
All fifteen of our holiday beach houses are bright and airy with an open-plan cooking-dining-lounging area. Kitchens are well-equipped with a double oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, and all the pots, pans, plates, bowls and cutlery you’ll need. The sofas are deep, and the log burners are lovely. Beds are luxurious, and the bathrooms thoughtfully designed. And outside, on the large private decking, there’s a large barbecue grill, sunken cedar hot tub, and a barrel sauna to complete the dream.

Bringing your four-legged friend?
You can actually see the smiles of dogs when they’re here. Our location was born to be explored by them. So, we made it easy to bring them along. We have a selection of dog-friendly houses for well-behaved pooches.
